So… I just ghosted you guys pretty hard. Sorry about that. I’ve been dealing with a serious lack of motivation for blogging recently (C’est vrai!) and I decided instead of fighting through it to keep posting regularly, I would just take a break. A luxury I’m still afforded while this is simply a hobby. (If/when it becomes more serious, I’ll power through my laziness.)

I’ve got some posts in draft form that you’ll see coming across the interwebs soon enough, but for right now, I wanted to dive back in with a Sunday list.

It’s Father’s Day (see featured photo of me and my pops). A special day to honor our dads AND their jokes.

Speaking of men, and things they say, let’s talk about the timing. (Maybe, I don’t know, DON’T interrupt women while they are speaking as often as you do?) **Not aimed at the many many wonderful and respectful men I know.**

And, while we’re talking about progress for women, let’s take a second to applaud masterbation! Or, more specifically, teaching girls abut THEIR pleasure – a topic that gets widely overlooked in adolescent conversations about sex.

More on women – I LOVED LOVED LOVED Wonder Woman (as seems to be the general consensus), and have been eager for the episode of Pop Culture Happy Hour where they talk about the movie to come out. It’s a fun listen. Check it out.

Treehouse in Cape Town? Yes, please.

This is quickly becoming one of my favorite jewelry brands, and I get to see her every year when she comes to the local art fair. Go check her out.

I’ve seen a lot of people doing a lot of creative things with Instagram Stories, and I hadn’t really taken the time to figure out how to be more creative with them. Still working on it, but this little tutorial by Sugar & Cloth was mighty helpful.

I’m not a millennial parent, but I know them, and this Buzzfeed article about the differences between millennial’s parents and millennials as parents is pretty amusing.

Stuff about wines! Yay!

Affordable house tweaks. Love that lumbar pillow, Jo.

I’m going here in a couple of weeks, and I’m not going to lie… I’m pretty stoked.

Oh, and on the topic of travel… one of my best friends just moved to Seattle, and I’m anxious to visit her. As is my way, I’ve already started researching about the best stuff to do.

Im trying to watch my spending right now, but I really wish I could buy this.

Okay, off to enjoy the rest of this Sunday!

Love, Lessyloo
