Whether it’s because I’ve been seeing shades of pink everywhere recently for Valentine’s Day, or because I’ve always always been a little obsessed with the color, I’ve got an idea brewing for this beautiful hue.

Guh. I love these blush and peachy pinks. Such a feminine tone. Which, brings me to what being single has to do with consideration of this color. I’m thinking about making a fairly bold move with pink in my home; a move I think I’d perhaps have trouble selling to a male companion down the line. So.. there might not be a more perfect point. Making unilateral decor decisions is a major selling point of singlehood.
Look at how lovely pinks can be in homes!

I’ve always been fond of the combination of a peachy pink, a mustard gold, gray, and navy. Take a look at the Isleta duvet cover I snagged from Anthropologie five+ years ago:
Color combinations like this have me all heart-eyes….

So basically guys, what I’m trying to say is that I’m seriously considering painting my bedroom a gorgeous pale pink and giving the room a little re-vamp. I’m not committing to it quite yet, but it’s on my mind in a serious way. Has anyone else done it before? Did you get tired of the color? I’m generally such a white-walls gal.
If I don’t take the plunge, I’ve got a couple of sweet little products that could give me a little pink fix:

Or, if I want to get crafty, both of these projects could be great in this color palate!

If I make the plunge, I’ll be sure to post about it, so keep an eye out!
